What's up? What's up? What's up? Today, we come to you from the, "Dynamic Duo Inspired Journey," with pure "Love." We want to let you know how much we love you, and how much we appreciate you, reading our blog. Thank you for tapping in to, celebrate us, our travels, our adventures (bucket-list), and just life, in general. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Warriors, this week, we will be discussing, "Love." Life is all about loving, God, ourselves, and our neighbor (You). Lol. "You ready, Sid? Let's talk about love." "Yes, Baby! It Is All About Love."👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The Bible says that God is love.❤️❤️❤️ As a matter of fact, He loved us so much, He sent His only Son to this earth to die on the cross, for our sins. So, if we believe, we may have eternal life with, Jesus. Hallelujah! This type of love is called Agape, which is the highest form of love. It actually means God's love is immeasurable, and it is an incomparable love for humankind. This kind of love is divine, and it comes from God (and it's not based on feeling or emotions). Agape love is perfect, unconditional, sacrificial, and pure. Warriors, the closest we come to this kind of unconditional love, is the love we have for our children, but with God's help, He can guide us to love as He loves. Thank You, Lord!!!👐🏾👐🏾👐🏾
So.....what's going on in this world, today?👀👀 Why is there so much hatred and crime? Sidney and I believe, it's because of a lack of love. Where is the love? No love for God, no love for self, and no love for our neighbors????? Hey, Warriors, do you remember the old saying, "Love makes the world go round"? We concur with this saying. Today, so many people confuse love with behaviors like jealousy or possessiveness; so we've compiled a list of what we believe, love is:
It simply loves "as is" - with no expectations.
It doesn't possess - it allows freedom.
It forgives and keeps no record of wrongs.
It has no room for jealousy - it allows us to have our own journey.
It has no fear - it is happiness, contentment, satisfaction, and joy.
It is an action as well as a feeling.
It is unconditional - not trying to change the person.
It is wanting someone, but not needing them.
It is loving someone as you love yourself - equal.
It accepts differences.
It is a universal language.
It makes us feel good, rather than bad.
It allows us to put ourselves into other people's shoes. Empathy, Warriors. Empathy!😇😍😎
In order to exemplify the characteristics of love mentioned above, you must first love God. ❤️❤️❤️ How do you get to know God, in order to love Him? By building a relationship with Him, through reading His Word (the Bible), prayer, praising Him, fasting, and attending a bible-based church. Yes! It's all about seeking after Him. Guess What? As you seek after God, He truly shows you, who He is (Love). He will clean you up and show you how to Love: Himself, yourselves, and others. One thing for sure is, as you get to know Him, you can't help but to, love Him. He is the answer to every situation you may encounter in your life. Jesus, You are so beautiful! Shout it now, "I LOVE YOU, JESUS!"
Second, do you love, YOU? 🤫🤭😮 Start by appreciating yourself; accept and appreciate your vulnerability. God made you unique; you have something great to offer this world. Accept the things that happened to you; forgive yourself, and move on. Please, please, please, do not hold onto negativity. Find something positive, big or small. Always, use positive self-talk, have a spirit of gratitude (just be grateful), and care about yourself as much as you care about others. Engage in things that make you happy. For instance, the Adventurous Dynamic Duo like to exercise, travel, adventure, get massages, meditate, serve God, and write this blog - to encourage others. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Additionally, we truly believe in solitude (our alone time), just to unwind, getting to know and keep up with who we are, and who we are becoming. "Y'all hear that? 👀 That is really deep right there." Warriors, remember, it doesn't take having someone in your life to be complete. You must get there first, in order to be able to love unconditionally. Speak these three words, now, "I LOVE ME!"
Last, but not least, is to abide by the second greatest command in the New Testament of the Bible, which is, to love thy neighbor as thy self. This is what God commands of us. Okay, Warriors, this sounds easy, but it isn't always that simple. Our neighbor is also our enemies, 👀 the person, who spoke unkind words to/about you, who abused you, who scammed you, who is jealous of you, as well as the ones, we call our good friends. So, we must have a heart that forgives, and just let God be the judge. Remember, God says in His Word, He will fight our battles for us. Okay! So, right now, Warriors, with me, take a very deep breath in and out, and now breathe out - letting go and letting God. Now say, "I SHALL LOVE MY NEIGHBOR AS MYSELF!" We are all going to just, love, love, and love. "It's ALL ABOUT LOVE!"❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
